Gunnar von Gussen is a gorgeous 3 year old German Shepherd. Your head will do a 360 when you see this stunner walking down the street. Gunnar walks great on leash and is extremely obedient, although he is still hand-shy and afraid of loud noises. He meets dogs stiffly and only becomes comfortable when he is sure that they will be nice to him. Mid-energy Gunnar likes to get petted but he needs to warm up to you first. He is extremely gentle and sweet, and would love an owner who will help build his confidence. He enters his playgroup with some confusion and will warn the more hyper dogs away. This big sweetie prefers other calm, mellow dogs like himself and perks up in the company of his sister Duchess. Gunnar and Duchess came from the same home; they are possibly housebroken as they lived with (and adored!) the two-year-old child in the home. Gunnar so hopes to be part of another family – one who will consider adopting his sister with him.
